About George

George Guille is an architectural and interiors photographer based in Nelson, New Zealand whose work explores the interplay of light, material and space. Early fascination with photography and design “light and lines” led him from the Channel Islands to study architecture in Cape Town, traveling by motorcycle the whole way from Europe during which time he developed an appetite for travel and exploration — which instead of studying Architecture led to nine years on the road by motorcycle, circumnavigating the globe — before he settled in Nelson and focussed on bringing his two passions together photographing thoughtfully designed buildings.

Mentored by Simon Devitt, George brings architectural sensitivity and craft to every commission, working with architects, builders and premium property clients to produce imagery for marketing, awards and publication. He is known for a considered approach and for a portfolio that ranges from intimate interiors to large coastal homes and remote mountain lodges

His portfolio and client galleries show repeated collaborations with world class architects and high-end property firms.
